The WPN1 wall panel controller features single-knob control and 4.5cm colour TFT display, enabling users to make sound adjustments such as volume control source selection and muting, in addition to other system functions. 

The controller is PoE powered, available in both EU and US standard wall-mount boxes. The WPN1 ships with interchangeable white and black front covers to blend into most room designs. 

The WPN1 is networked and connects to Dynacord’s MXE5 matrix mix engine, with a 24x24 performance audio matrix for control, routing and mixing functionalities. 

With the MXE5’s system logic, the WPN1 can control one or multiple audio zones, as well as other peripheral equipment such as lights, projectors or blinds. 

Unicode character is supported to allow the system designer to label controls on the display in local languages.

The Sonicue software release 1.2.4 supports the WPN1 wall panel controller, improving the system logic of the MXE5 matrix mix engine by adding an active HTTP application programming interface (API) to actively control third-party devices. 

The release also includes a scheduler function for recurring events, enabling the MXE5 to operate as a system control centre. 

Control panel support for TGX and IPX series power amplifiers has been implemented to monitor and control the devices without the need for an MXE5, both on PC and iOS devices or via a TPC-1 touchpanel controller. 

Parameters can be used to create custom control panels for sound system operation, monitoring and supervision.
